What We Believe

  • The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word, verbally inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the final authority for Christian faith and practice.

  • God

The Most High God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. There is one true God who manifests Himself in three distinct Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus

Jesus eternally existed as God, came to earth through the virgin birth, lived a
sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, rose bodily from the dead and ascended bodily into Heaven.

  • The Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit is fully God, and not some impersonal force. He convicts unbelievers of sin, regenerates, indwells all believers at the moment of salvation and empowers Christians to live the Christian life and to do God’s work..

  • Mankind

God created mankind in His image in the Garden of Eden. Our first parents disobeyed God. As a result, all following generations were born with a sinful nature and are in need of salvation.

  • Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God by grace through faith. Good works and religious ceremonies cannot bring forgiveness of sins. It is the free gift of God because Jesus took the punishment we deserve for our sins on the cross. A person can be saved by repenting and believing in Jesus and His death, burial and resurrection for our salvation. There is no other way anyone can be saved, regardless of their good deeds or their religion.

  • The Christian Life

God saved us so that we can grow spiritually and be transformed into the likeness of Christ and to serve Him. This is a lifelong process of spiritual growth, and it is God’s will for all Christians. The Bible is the Christian’s spiritual food for growth. Every Christian should read it, study it, obey it and attend a church that preaches and teaches it every Sunday.

  • Heaven and Hell

Those who are saved through a personal relationship with Jesus will spend eternity in Heaven. Those who have not received Christ as their Savior will spend eternity in Hell. There is no salvation apart from Christ.

  • The Church

The Body of Christ consists of all who have been born again regardless of denomination. The local church is the body of baptized believers organized to evangelize, edify and equip believers for service. Every Christian should be an active member of a Biblically based church.

  • Ordinances of the Church

Baptism is the total immersion of the believer after salvation by immersion as a public declaration of his/her new life in Christ. The Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the symbols of the Lord’s body and blood in communion with Him. They are not sacraments. They do not bring salvation.

  • Satan

Satan is a spirit being who is the arch-enemy of God and His people. He will meet his end when he is cast into the Lake of Fire in the last days.

  • Creation

God created the universe and all life forms as recorded in Genesis without evolution.

  • Marriage

True marriage is the union and life commitment of one man and one woman. Sex outside of a heterosexual marriage relationship is sin.

  • The Second Coming

Jesus is coming again. All will be resurrected in the last day – the saved to life eternal; the lost to eternal punishment in Hell.

  • The Great Commission

The Great Commission is Jesus command to take the Gospel to the whole world, bring people to Christ, baptize them and establish them in local churches for discipleship, Christian growth and reproduction.

And that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

(2 Timothy 3:15-17)
